Storyline:
On September 12, 2005 in Hollywood, California, Vince Vaughn took the stage at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood, California and began a comedy tour featuring four stand-up comedians. In the spirit of the old west variety shows, Vaughn played host to the ensemble of comedians and performed improvisational sketches with surprise celebrity and musical guests. The film chronicles the journey of Vaughn and the comedians as travel over 6,000 miles and perform 30 shows in 30 consecutive nights in cities across the nation. Through on-stage performances and behind-the-scenes interviews, the grass roots documentary breaks down each comedian's life-altering experiences and the personal and professional challenges that unite four comics, one movie star and fans from Hollywood to the Heartland.

This show is more like a documentary of the ups and downs of a comedy show on the road than a "movie". There are interviews with Vince and the other guys on the 30-day tour, and shows them traveling from town to town. They only show little clips of each guy's act so you really don't get to see the comedy show itself. It was interesting to watch, but I can't say it was worth paying movie ticket price for. It was kind of a bust as a night out. I can imagine that seeing the actual show live would have been great.

I found Vince Vaughn's Wild West tour funny and laugh out loud through out most of the film. The only down side I found in the film was the time spent as a tribute to hurricane victims. Yes, it was a touching and emotional time; but to go from laughing out loud right into that portion of the film was a real "buzz kill" for me. I would not have missed much if that portion had it been left on the cutting room floor. All in all it is entertaining and laugh out loud funny!

We enjoyed the movie but it was different than we expected. There was some comedy time but most of it was like a documentry. It was something I would have loved to have seen on a cable channel. Not spent $10.00 to go see.

I caught the matinee and walked into an empty theater. The film shows a 30 shows in 30 days road trip that covers California, the southwest, the midwest, and ends up in Chicago. Its more about the road trip with snippets of the 4 comics acts. I can't say there were that many laughs given such a small taste of each act. This isn't you're average theater stand up routine and going into it expecting as much I was disappointed. I don't care to have a Politically Correct cry fest for these actor/comedians. Make me laugh, or don't bill yourself a comedy show.

I went to see "Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show" the night it came out...I bought my tickets online, because I thought the theater was going to be PACKED...but it wasn't...at all...I thought that was a very bad sign, my buddy and I sat down and said "Man, this is going to s*ck...". The movie started kind of slow, they were just pretty much talking about the cities they were visiting and the people the met on the road...IT WAS VERY BORING...Man, about 30 minutes into the movie, they started to show more footages from the show...I have to say, my face was SORE because I was laughing so hard...they're so f-ing funny... Seriously, give it a chance, for the first 30 minutes you'll be thinking of how you'll be asking for a refund, but, once the jokes start, you're going to LOVE IT!!!
